Novel Artefacts draws inspiration from traditional interior textiles—eiderdowns, Austrian balloon blinds, and other domestic forms that hold echoes of comfort and care. Reimagined through woven structure, these works blur the line between function and art, transforming the familiar into something contemplative and new.

Rooted in history yet untethered to time, the pieces speak to the enduring presence of cloth within the home and the body. Each fold and gathered surface becomes a quiet dialogue between past and present, utility and reverie. In their softness and structure, these woven artefacts invite pause—honouring what has been while imagining what might be.
